Windermere Ridge is a Windermere area gated neighborhood of approx 93 homes and features private, gated entry, oak tree lined streets and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood, a community park with playground and picnic area and a tree lined walking path trail at the south end of the neighborhood.
The neighborhood is technically an Orlando address but sits right on the edge of Windermere. Olympia High School is directly to its South but separated by a moderately sized wetland area.
The Windermere Ridge neighborhood is located in the Northeast area of Windermere just off of Apopka Vineland Road.
The neighborhood is technically in Orlando as it is just across Apopka-Vineland Road from Windermere proper. Windermere Ridge is located in the 32835 zip code in Orange County which is central and heart of the Greater Orlando Metropolitan Area of Central Florida.
The Westminster Landing and Harbor Isle neighborhoods are next to Windermere Ridge and Downtown Windermere is located just from the main entrance of Windermere Ridge. The Florida Turnpike, I-4, the 408 and 429 expressways are close by providing quick access to all points of interest within Orlando and the Central Florida area.
The majority of the homes in Windermere Ridge were built between 2001 and 2004 by various custom home builders. The neighborhood features traditional style homes which range in size from approx 2,700 square feet to over approx 4,500 sq ft. Homes typically feature 4 to 5 bedrooms and two to three car garages and brick paver driveways. The majority of the homes feature private swimming pools. Some of the homes back to the park area.
